What the FAA requires

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain ATR-GIE Avions de Transport R[eacute]gional Model ATR42-500 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a determination that a new airworthiness limitation is necessary. This AD requires revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate a new airworthiness limitation. Applicability

This AD applies to ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Régional Model ATR42-500 airplanes, certificated in any category, as identified in European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD 2025-0135, dated June 26, 2025 (EASA AD 2025-0135). (d) Subject Air Transport Association (ATA) of America Code 05, Time Limits/Maintenance Checks; 21, Air Conditioning and Pressurization. (e) Unsafe Condition This AD was prompted by a determination that a new airworthiness limitation is necessary.
