Your inventory should come here the way it already leaves your system, not by retyping. If you export to ILS or PartsBase today, from Quantum, Pentagon 2000, AvSight, Component Control or a spreadsheet, that same file is all we need, on your schedule. Setup is free and takes about twenty minutes; the record does the rest: every number gets its NSN, its price history and its S.C.O.U.T. watch the morning after it lands.
Inventory feeds: the file you already make
Each inventory source on your account can have a feed: a private email address (feed-…@in.partsandplanes.com) and a matching URL. Email the export to the address, or post it to the URL, from your system's scheduler. The file loads with the column mapping you saved the first time, in replace or add mode, and you get a receipt with the counts. Stale listings retire on their own, so what a buyer sees is what you have.
Quantum Control (Component Control)
The scheduled broadcast export you send to ILS or PartsBase is the file we take. Add your PartsAndPlanes feed address as a recipient, or point the export at your feed URL. If you run Quantum's web API module, a scheduled export from it posted to the feed URL works the same way.
Pentagon 2000
Your listing export (the file you upload to ILS) goes to your feed address on the schedule you already run. Column names are learned once, in the mapper, and reused every time.
AvSight (Salesforce)
A scheduled report export of your inventory, emailed to your feed address, is enough. If you have the API, a nightly post to the feed URL does the same with no mailbox in the loop.
ILS and PartsBase files
Whatever file you already send to either of them works as-is. The mapper reads the headers and shows you what it understood before the first load; a column it does not recognize you name once, and it is remembered.
Spreadsheets and everything else
A CSV or Excel file from any system, or a sheet you keep by hand. Upload it, or email it to your feed address from the mailbox you use for it. Replace or add, your choice per source.

Step by step: connect your system in twenty minutes
The same six steps for every system. Steps 1 to 4 are on this site; step 5 is in yours, and it is the one thing that differs, so it is spelled out per system below.

Sign in and open Parts Listing
Seller Dashboard, then Parts Listing. The account is free.

Upload the export once, by hand
Click Add Parts and choose the file your system already produces for ILS or PartsBase. The mapper reads the headers and shows what it understood: part number, description, condition, quantity, price, trace. Name any column it did not recognize. That mapping is saved.

Give the upload a source name
When asked “Which inventory is this sheet?”, name it after the system it came from (“Quantum nightly”, “AvSight weekly”). Every later file from that system replaces only this source; your other listings are untouched.

Add a feed to that source
Under Inventory sources, click Add a feed. You get a private email address and a matching URL. Copy the address.

Add the address to your export
In your system, add the feed address as a recipient of the scheduled export you already run, or point the export at the URL. Details per system are below.

Read the receipt
Every load sends a receipt with the counts. Stale listings retire on their own. Nothing else to do; the feed runs on your schedule from then on.

One address and one URL per inventory source, private to you. Anything sent to it that is not a CSV or Excel file is refused with a note back to the sender.
Step 5, by system
Quantum Control (Component Control)
Use the scheduled broadcast export you already send to ILS (Quantum calls the interface ILS Bridge) or the PartsBase export. Add the feed address as an email recipient of that export, or have the scheduled job deliver the file to the feed URL. Same file, same schedule, one more recipient. If you license Quantum’s web API module, a scheduled export from it posted to the feed URL works the same way.
Pentagon 2000
Use the listing export you upload to ILS or PartsBase today. Schedule it as you already do and email it to the feed address, or save it where a nightly task can post it to the feed URL. Column names are learned once in the mapper and reused every load.
AvSight (Salesforce)
Create or reuse an inventory report in AvSight and schedule it to email its export; add the feed address as a recipient. If you have Salesforce API access, a nightly post of the same report to the feed URL keeps the mailbox out of the loop.
ILS and PartsBase files
Whatever file you already send to either of them works unchanged. Forward the same file to the feed address on the same schedule. The mapper reads their headers as they are.
Spreadsheets and everything else
A CSV or Excel file from any system, or a sheet you keep by hand. Email it to the feed address from the mailbox you use for it, or upload it under Add Parts. Replace or add, your choice per source.
Your own developer
POST the file to the feed URL (multipart “file”, or the raw CSV with ?name=), or use the full API with a key from your account for inventory, search, pricing and the record. Documentation with curl examples is at /developers.
Menu names differ between versions of these systems, so the descriptions above say what to look for rather than where to click. If you would rather not touch the export at all, forward one copy of it to [email protected] and the feed is set up for you, with your column mapping, the same day; after that you only add the address as a recipient.
Questions sellers ask first
Do I have to change my export?
No. The file you already make for ILS or PartsBase is the file we read. You add one recipient, or one URL, to the job that already runs.
My column names are odd.
The mapper shows what it understood before the first load and asks about anything it did not; you name it once and it is remembered for that source.
Replace or add?
Your choice per source. Replace (the usual) makes the site match the file: what is in the file is listed, what is not is retired. Add keeps everything and adds the new rows.
How often?
As often as your export runs. Nightly is typical; hourly is fine. Each load sends a receipt.
What do you do with my file?
Load it and nothing else. We do not resell or share it, we never take a commission, and we do not need a login to your system. Delete the feed and it stops.
What do I get for it?
A page per part number under the number a buyer searches, about 76,000 views a week across the site, a quote button that reaches you, a storefront under your name, and S.C.O.U.T. every morning on every number you list.
API
A key from your account. Upload or replace inventory, search parts and government demand in batches, pull pricing, read the same intelligence the pages show. Receivers already written against PartsBase's push formats can keep their code: we send the same shapes on request. Documentation, with examples in curl, is at /developers.
Alerts where your team works
S.C.O.U.T. matches, new requests for quote, and quote events can post to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Discord as messages, or to any URL as JSON with a signed header. Paste the channel's incoming-webhook URL under Business Settings, pick the events, and a test message lands in the channel. Email stays on unless you turn it off.
Excel and Google Sheets
A column of part numbers can pull what DLA last paid, the NSN, open solicitations and approved sources straight into cells: one Excel formula, or one IMPORTDATA line in Sheets, no key. Step by step for anyone, Excel expert or not: PartsAndPlanes in Excel. The reference is under Spreadsheets.
What we do not do
We do not take a commission on anything you sell, we do not resell or share your inventory file, and we do not need a login to your system. The feed is one-way, from you to us, on your schedule, and you can stop it by deleting the address.
