Inventory feeds: your inventory system sends the file, your listings update themselves

Sellers on Quantum Control, Pentagon 2000, AvSight and Corridor already export their inventory every night for the listing services. From today that same export can come here, with nothing typed.

How it works

• On Parts Listing, under Automatic feeds, click Set up a feed on a source you have uploaded by hand at least once (that first upload is where we learn your columns).
• You get a private email address (feed-…@in.partsandplanes.com) and a POST URL. Both are specific to that source; "new address" retires the old one.
• Schedule your system's export to email the file to that address — .csv, .xlsx or .xls, up to 200 MB. Quantum: the ILS Bridge broadcast export on a nightly schedule.
• On arrival the source is replaced (or added to, your choice) and a receipt lands in your inbox: file name, rows loaded, anything skipped.
• Every listing gets the same treatment as a manual upload: NSN cross-reference, the government demand lines, the approved-source and SAM badges.

Why it matters

A listing that is a week stale gets quoted at last week's stock and last week's price. A feed keeps the site as current as your own system, and every part that goes into it is on the next Google crawl, in the Merchant Center feed if it has a price and a photo, and in the demand matching that runs every night. Set it up once.
