A page for every stock number, solicitation, notice and supply class

Until this week a stock number on this site was a line in a search result. Since Wednesday night it is a page: /nsn/6530-00-000-0070 carries the cross-references with their reference codes, the management data, the characteristics, every open request from DLA and every other agency, the buy history with who won and at what price, and the sellers with stock. DLA solicitations followed the same night (one page per request, with the procurement history and the outcome once awarded; every open one is linked from its stock-number page), SAM.gov notices this morning (10,887 aviation notices from every agency, with the contracting contact and the award when it lands; linked from stock-number pages and Market Pulse), and this afternoon the supply classes: /parts lists every class with activity and each class page shows open requests, the most-solicited stock numbers, who wins, and awards by month.

Why it matters

Two reasons. A buyer searching a stock number or a solicitation number now finds the record rather than a form. And a search engine can now index the record: all of it is in the nightly sitemap, 112,000 URLs and counting, each page with a canonical address, structured data and a title that says what it is.
