The FAA on the part page: Airworthiness Directives and service difficulty reports

An Airworthiness Directive is a legal order: operators must inspect or replace the parts it names on a schedule. A part in a fresh AD is a part that will be bought. We now pull every FAA final and proposed rule from the Federal Register, parse the part numbers out of the rule text, and show them on the part page under the FAA tab.

Service Difficulty Reports are operators and repair stations telling the FAA a part failed in service. We load the FAA's yearly files, close to 600,000 reports, and match them on part number and component part number. A part number that keeps showing up is a part that keeps getting replaced.

Sellers get FAA watch on the dashboard: which of your listings are named in an AD, how many ADs were published in the last 90 days, and which of your part numbers have service reports in the last year. Email alerts when a new AD names something you list are built and will switch on shortly.
