Who operates the aircraft your parts fit: the FAA registry, searchable

Type a make or model into /fleet and you get the fleet: how many are registered, who owns them, which states they sit in, the variants, and the operators with the most of that type. 316,721 aircraft, refreshed from the FAA's releasable registry every week.

Why it matters: a parts seller usually knows the part and the airframe, not the operators. Now the question "who flies the PC-12?" has a public answer: 1,434 aircraft, 1,153 registered owners, and the top of the list is where the maintenance dollars are.

• Prefix search: "737" covers every 737 variant; "KING AIR" covers the family.
• Trusts and leasing companies appear as the registered owner, so the list tells you who holds title, not always who operates; we say so on the page.
• Individuals are left out of the operator table; the counts include them.
